Dear my classmates

Today is our last day of class.
I'm very sad and also happy. I'm sad that this class is ended and happy that i have learned so many things from this class. As i learned many things from the class, i hope you guys have learned many things from the class too.
I also wish all these skill and information we learned through the class can be used in our future and be very beneficial to us.

Statistics of my blog

Statistics of my Blog.

1. Blog

Statistic of my blog can be seen as low. I think i was not very active while i was blogging. I know it is very sad but I have learned that I have to be very active and make some fresh posts to get attention from the people. Very low numbers showed during the October and November. It is very challenging to getting people attention and to make view my blog.

1. Twitter

First of all, i not big fan of twitter and I don’t like how people keep making post all the time. Since I am not big fan of twitter i was not very involved in twitting which makes the statistic very low. Also i don’t re-twitted to people I follow which made my twitter stats every worse.

I think people or groups that i followed was more of company that makes products and advertisement. So maybe that made them to twitted a lot. I think it is very hard to keep up with twitter and it seems very time consuming

1. Linkedin

During this class, I learned what the Linkedin was and to me, it seems very useful. Since i am student, i don’t have many connections but i was happy to know the people who i met in the past had linkedin. I added few people that i know from the church, people who work at the insurance company. Obviously, my stats only can be very low because I am not full time worker yet but I thought what I do in the future and my passion about my job will make my linkedin very active. 

ROI & What Should We Do

ROI & What Should we do to make it better?

ROI which stands for return on investment. It means a performance measure used to evaluate the efficiency of an investment or to compare the efficiency of a number of different investments. I think this is very efficient information to the people who are willing to join the social media marketing field. It has three stages.

First step is Launch. Lauch menas setting up the base skills and base information that will help to start what you want to do such as facebook, linkedin, twitter and so on. I think is step is the most important part to ROI. It is just like architecture. If you are building a house and base con structure is not well made, the house will collapse and it is same for ROI or any kind of marketing field.

Second step is Management. Basically, it menas managing the company for whatever they are dealing with. Now company start to approach to their field to make some movement or to develop their company. While this process, it can be very tactical and time consuming but need patient. Instead of getting or wanting the result right away, taking time waiting for mid to long term result is better. 

Third step is Optimization. Optimization. This is fun part. Getting a result from what the company did and understanding the values of customers. Through this process, company can change their ways to approach to people and develop. However to reach this point company have to dedicate to what they are doing and not so many companies has reached this point.

Thing is, all these are connected to one conclusion. Social media marketing is everywhere.  Social media marketing can be used in everywhere and it is not jus to socialized with people. It is more used to develop oneself or the company and the ultimate goal is to make a profit.

Case&Speaker

During the class, we had a guest speaker who is professional blogger. First impression to me was shocked. Through the class I have learned that there are people who do blogging as their job and make earning through that. However I thought it was not a job to invest my time and i thought it would be very hard. As i thought she was very dedicated blogger. Her blog topic was based her children’s life and her life with the children. First thing she mentioned was be dedicated to you blog and willing to spend a lot of time if you want to become professional blogger and I can why she said that. Blog is all about communicating with people.  Always beware of what you are writing on you blog and what you are trying to say which can be very stressful and time consuming. You have to like it in order to make progress and to out stand in the competition. She told her story about how she was very stressed out while she was working with blog and few kinds of happening that frustrated her. I again realized how blog working is tough and not an easy job to just play around. Sincereness and open heart will get attention from people. Also I was surprised how advertisement company contact the blogger to advertise their company and products but to reach that level certain numbers of people and fans who follow the blog are needed.

5 Twitters who I follow.

Leader bike
Leader bike is a brand of bike which is popular and world wide spread. The company produce the all kind of parts for the bike such as frames, forks, cog, lockring, crank and more. Also they make some clothing. Emi Brown is well known for Leader bike rider. He is sponsored bike the leader and you can find him on youtube easily.  Leader bike is very popular to the young people who wants to make fancy bike.

Cinelli USA.
Cinelli is a brand originated in Italy. It is well known for professional bike. Cineli makes a lot of bike parts. They are little expensive but they are known for well worth the price. Parts from the Cinelli last longer and they have good warranty service. Also Cinelli opens a lot of tournament through out the years and give out their products away as a price. Cinelli is one of the top best selling bike company.

MASH SF
MASH SF is the team that are located in San Francisco, California. They are sponsored by Cinelli bike the team is well know for professional bikers. They go around the world and they film the movies. In the video, they show how they ride and how their team works. Among the bikers, Mash team is so famous and well known as a riders with trends and skills.

CNN
CNN is the cable news network which is basically news. CNN is available to mostly all around the country and they are talks about variety of news that happens all around the world. They are built in 1980 and they were known to public so well when they broad cast the Gulf war in 1991

Nike sports wear
Nike is made by Philip Knight and Bill Bowermen. They worked with Japaness company but when they were done with Japaness company, they created new company called nike. They start to make shoes, clothes and sports wear and gears. Now Nike is one of the best company in the world and everyone know the Nike. Nike sports wear is well known for fancy design which attracts the young people.  

Knowledge sharing!!

Hello guys!! Hope you’re having great day. Through the searching information online, i realized how it internet is so important to our lives. I just wanted to share some information that i know and learned through searching online.

As all you can see i am bike geek. I personally ride Fixie which short term of fixed gear bike. Fixed gear bike is different than any regular bike. Fixed gear means bike’s crank and cog which mean parts that makes bike to run is fixed and connected together. Any regular bike can shift the gear while riding bike and also most of them are free wheel. So while you are riding bike, you can shift the gears rest your leg. On the other hand, fixed gear can’t not rest your leg while bike is running because simply it is fixed. no movement on leg means bike is stopped. I personally think fixed gear bike makes your thigh and hamstring stronger and leaner than any other bikes. Also fixed became one of the cultures to teens and young people. compare to other bikes, fixie does not have that many parts to put in and all the parts represent yourself. people put the parts they like and all of them are unique and has different colors.

• CNN 

CNN is short term of Cable News Network. It is originated from U.S and the head  quarter is located in Georgia Atlanta-city. CNN provides news from all over the world. First it was based on radio network and moved on to satellite, cable and more. Founder of CNN, Ted Turner started to make CNN bigger and world wide now it became one of the most knowable and famous news network. Hearing all kinds of news will benefit me and to build up my futre brand.

* Leader Bike

Leader bike was built in year of 2000 in U.S. It is world well known bike brand. The company is very strict about the product’s high quality test, durability and safety. Now the company produces product and export to other countries such as Korea, Japan, Europe and more. The products leader bike produces are bike components such as frames, forks, stems, seat-post, crank-set and more. Marketing can be based on anything. Selling bikes that consumers need can be one of them and i think it is good to know about the areas that i am interested in.

* Cinelli USA

Cinelli is the company that is originated in Milan, Italy. Now it has branched to USA, Korea and more to east part of Asia. Cinelli was found in 1948 by Cino Cinelli. He was professioner racer and after his death, cinelli started to grow racers and sponsor the racing tournaments and branched to variety areas where they can market their value. Anyone who is interested in bike racing or bike would heard about cinelli

* Cinelli MASH SF

MASH SF is bicycle crew that is working on San Francisco currently. Mash team had many different kind of people and the one main reason why they are formed together is they love to ride bike. They are professioner bike riders and they currently making their bike Frames with company Cinelli. Also Mash team do some filming and they make it as a movie to give  impression and motivation to people who rides bike. Their videos and clips are very well known to people.

• Nike Sportswear 

Nike sportswear is part of company NIKE. It was found by Philip Nite. He started to branch the company in 1978 and NIKE became official company. First they started to make shoes and soon they branched the clothing . Nike sportswear was very successful and 50%of clothing was nike. Nike started to step out bigger and investigated on football, Golf, soccer and more sports and now it became world most popular company. Im very interested im markting clothe. If i study about how nike became so successul in marketing, i can make my future brand successful and strong.

Why it is important to market yourself?

The reason why it is important to market yourself is to let people know who you are. To build my brand online, it is useful to you social media such as facebook, twitter, personal blog and more. I think it is priority to let people know who you are and what are you trying to do through these online tool. Also make some connection through online. People who have similar interest or people who can get some help.

I am currently a student at UCR and I am taking this class to improve my skills on marketing. Not specifically on E marketing but in general Area and hopefully I can achieve the marketing certificate.
